We are pleased to announce that we will be running a one-day training course this autumn for the acoustic modelling and auralisation programme CATT-Acoustic. The course will be held on Tuesday 20 September 2016 at the Saint-Gobain Innovation Centre, London.
AJA are the sole UK agents for CATT-Acoustic. We were one of the first UK consultancies to use CATT and we have extensive experience both using the software as consultants and providing technical support to other users.
20 September 2016
09:00 - 15:00
Saint-Gobain Innovation Centre
95 Great Portland Street
The course will be aimed at users of both the prediction-only and full-auralisation versions of CATT-Acoustic. We will provide an introduction to the concepts behind CATT-Acoustic, covering the principles, creation and de-bugging models, good practice, settings for different types of models and parameters, and interpretation of results. We will also cover some advanced modelling techniques, auralisation using TUCT and the additional prediction utilities available in TUCT. A full course handbook will be provided.
If you or your colleagues are interested in attending please reply to firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone us on 01603 721511. If you have any technical queries about the course content please contact Ian Rees at email@example.com or on the above telephone number.
Note that we are not intending to cover the advanced auralisation and convolution utilities included with the full auralisation version of CATT-Acoustic (such as CATT-Walker, Reflphinder and The FIRverb Suite) in this single-day course. If any users are interested in these aspects please let us know as we may be able to organise a separate advanced session to cover these.
